BF is mushy so he'll probably want to do something big. I like V-day more for the heart-shaped candy and the cute little trinkety things you can buy at Target...so I hope he doesn't expect anything big!
I'm probably just going to get him the most ridiculous boxers I can find and a big corny heart box with chocolate and probably card which will actually be mushy and the sincere part of the present.
We live 100 miles apart, so just spending the money on gas to visit him or him to come visit me will be present enough!

Our anniversary is on February 8 so we always buy each other gifts for that and something small for Valentine's Day. By small I mean every year my BF gets me to new Valentine Beanie baby. It is the one tradition that we have so I really like it. We are also going to be in Cancun from the 6th - 11th so we will most likely be laying low that night anyway. I remember last year we ate at Chipotle for Valentine's Day, ha!!

We're both saving our pennies... and our anniversary is on 2/20 plus we're going on vacation on 2/28. I'll probably make a super-cheesy valentine and pink rice kripsy treats (I do that for our families, too), but other than that we'll probably just go to dinner... nowhere fancy.

Three years ago, my then-boyfriend tried to take me out to a pretty nice restaurant - and strangely, they didn't take reservations! So when we got there, there was a line out the door. I was too hungry to wait, but the few places we drove by were also packed. Finally I said that all I wanted was to go to McDonald's, so we ate hamburgers while we sat in the car in the parking lot! He was depressed because he liked being super romantic, but I was perfectly happy

I think I'll get him a massage and then make us a nice dinner, but probably not on V-Day itself -- we both have late shifts at work and going out that day probably won't happen (he's 4 to midnight, I'm 1 to 9 pm). He's never had a professional massage and often gets back pain, so I think he'll like that.
i will get him a card and probably either homemade sweets or store bought sweets. we aren't big hallmark holiday people (sweetest day, anyone...chicago girls...um no. we DEFINITELY don't celebrate that).
last year we got eachother the same card on accident. it was soooo adorable.

He wants a big stuffed animal so he can practice his trial stuff in front off. I think that's cheesy, but it's what he wants (I guess my he doesn't like my critiques when he does it in front of me).
I also ordered him this laptop bag (in brown) that he's wanted to forever and I know he'll be so suprised and happy.
