Horribly Disappointed With JCrew

I like JCrew. I like shopping there. Their prices are sometimes crazy, but I can deal.

I ordered my stuff in December. On the 28th to be exact. It is now 01/08/2007. I still haven't gotten my stuff. It still hasn't been shipped out even though Jcrew sent me a tracking number on the 2nd. I called JCrew and their reps and "supervisors" all give me different excuses about the reason why my package is still in their hands. One of them told me they used a private carrier that drops off packages to UPS at their Salt Lake City center! JCrew is located in VA. I called UPS, and they said they don't have the package in hand. They are beyond rude, and have not given me any kind of resolution to fix the problem. I ordered from Old Navy a day before I placed my order with JCrew and that package arrived on the 4th! That was through UPS, too!

I don't know what's going on. I don't know why anyone there isn't trying to help me get my package. I'm horribly disappointed with how they treated me, and pissed off I haven't gotten my package. I feel like I should be more patient, but when I read about others who've ordered after me and have gotten their packages before me, I get angry.

I don't know what to do! I just have to be patient; and never order online from them again!

That's terrible! I just ordered stuff from them on 1/1 and they sent me the shipping notification on 1/4, but the UPS site still doesn't have it as shipped - still says something about billing info received.


I can't believe they were so rude and gave you the run around! That's completely unnacceptable.

i'm usually satisfied with their online shopping experience, but they've been dropping the ball recently. i ordered something (beyoot cashmere sweater for $70!), and got a shipping notification on 1/3. i got the same 'billing' message for a while, and it finally shipped yesterday (1/8). aagh. i don't know if it's an due to UPS or j crew, but either way, it's annoying.

i hope you get your package soon

Exsupahero, I just got my package today. But, one of the shirts they sent me was not the one I ordered! I swear what I ordered was a plain light yellow t-shirt, that was pigment dyed and faded or something like that. They sent me a shirt in the same color (even pigment dyed!) but it's shirred and has a sort of baby-doll thing going on with ties. Now the shirt I had ordered is no longer on the site! I've always had good service with Jcrew.com, but now not so much.


ETA: It's too bad too, because they always have such good sales, and I can usually find a coupon code.


ETA: They did send me the wrong shirt!! I checked the item number on the packing slip and the item number on the shirt they sent me, and they don't match. The shirt they sent me does not fit right in the chest either!

I finally got my stuff. I really like their stuff so I'm going to keep it, but it sucks so bad when their reps are so rude! I guess I have to stick to the store if I want something. It seems like the online reps will only help you if you kiss their ass.

And wetbandit42, I'm sorry they sent you the wrong stuff. Their online staff/warehouse employees are so careless! Hope everything gets fixed for you.

Do you know, they sent me the wrong size in the online order I did a month or so ago for a pair of boots! It ended up working out alright in the end because the boots still fit, but it seems like they're definitely getting careless.

I've ordered swimsuits from them before because I love their quality, but I once ordered a red bikini and received the bottoms in red and the top in green.
