I need a new cell phone.  Anyone have any recommendations or ones they hate and to stay away from?  Thanks!

I'm not sure who your provider is, but I just got a LG Chocolate from Verizon a few days ago.  So far I love it, I just hope that it holds up well.  It has plenty of features and is a slick looking phone.

i've had the same samsung phone for about 4 years and it still works perfectly so i'd recommend them. HTH!

LG makes awesome phones...they always get receptions.

I just got the LG Fusic (I'm with Sprint) and I love it!  It has every feature you could want and there are lots of specials on it right now.  I got mine for $50.  I've already transferred songs to it from my computer and it sounds really good.  I'm going to use it as my main MP3 player once I get a 1gB mini SD card for it.  My favorite thing is that it has an FM transmitter built into it, so you can listen to music in your car without adding anything to it!

i have the motorola razr v3c from verizon. it's a decent phone with gimmicks i don't use (camera being one), but i have some dropped calls. i blame that on the provider, not the phone though.

I have a RAZR too, and I like it pretty much. At first I thought it was really cumbersome and didn't like it, but that might have just been because I was so used to my old phone...for the most part, I like it now. I've never had any dropped calls.

I also have a RAZR and I love it, though I bought it for the color (pink) instead of the features. I frequently have dropped calls, but I think it's Cingular's crappy reception, not the phone.

I have the same phone and Cingular.  I was actually told by Cingular that it's the phone and not their service.  They actually just exchanged my razr for a new one.  I'm crossing my fingers I have less problems w/the new one.  I wouldn't advise anyone to get a razr - it's been non-stop problems for me!

I got the cherry chocolate from Verizon - love it!  Envy by Verizon looks good too - depends on what's important to you.  Chocolate has mp3 player for music.  The envy looks great if you want a pda device - testing and email, etc.

Ditto!  I got the razr when it first came out, though, so maybe the technology just hadn't been perfected at the time.  I thought it was Cingular that was the problem, but they also told me it was the phone.

I have the KRZR and love it - it's basically a skinnier RAZR. I haven't had any issues with dropped calls.
