because IMO, it was the best episode so far. i'm happy i stuck by this show despite some bad episodes. steve weber and the new orleans brass band had me welling up. and the sketch was actually funny!
I completely agree. I've been watching since the beginning, and it has gotten so much better in the last few episodes. The writing is better, the storylines are actually interesting, and the sketches being funny also makes a huge difference.
I agree this episode was better than it's been. Hopefully it means they're hitting their stride and it's not just a fluke.
I totally saw the Danny/Jordan thing coming a few weeks ago, but it was still cute. I love that she was eating away and had a big mouthful when he told her. I was kind of starting to dislike her character, but she redeemed herself this episode. It's funny that I care about this though...because I could hardly care less about Matt & Harriet. Snooooze.
I agree, this show is definitely a lot better now. They seem to have relaxed a little with the characters, and aren't making them go on long fast, talking monologues as much. Also, I thought the Jordan/Danny thing was very cute and it's good they're not making as big of a deal out of Harriet's religion every single episode!

ITA! they don't seem to take themselves so seriously. i hope they've put the soapbox in permanent storage. more cal would also be great (the coconut was such an obvious joke, but i was still laughing into commercials), but that episode was still sweet.
