1. I've been buying at V.S. because they keep sending me those coupons for free panties, and I buy bras while I'm in there.

2. I do have at least 2 pairs of panties to match each bra, and these mostly get worn to work. Then I have a heap of panties that don't ahve a matching bra, and these are mostly weekend/jeans panties.

3. The VS girl tried to talk me into a nude bra on Saturday because they hide better. She domonstrated by showing me how badly her white bra was showing though her white shirt. But, I feel weird/incomplete without a white bra in my drawer. I already had a nude color one, so I bought the white any way.

4. I have been professionally fitted, but I'm still not sold on the fit. I swear I'm between sizes.

5. I bought these tiger printed VS thongs that are a brown/pinky-coral. I didn't look for a matching bra because it seemed too much. What would I do with a tiger print bra? I just got the panties.

Fun/printed bras don't come in my size. Just ugly ones with wide straps.

I have some of both, but often I'm just as happy either way. Unless something "special" is planned.

Not really because I don't like to have to worry about bra standing out. Plus, they are a little harder to find in my size IRL and I don't want to order one not having tried on one exactly like it.

I buy most of my bras at Kohls and Victoria Secret.

I match the bra more to the outfit(the color of the bra). I do have some matching bra and underwear sets though.

I use white bras alot,because for me they hide better under white. I am so pale that nude color bras are darker then my flesh tone so that they sick right out.

Size my self. I am only a b-cup though so that is pretty easy to do.

Yep.Most my bras are bright colors or crazy prints.

I've been professionally fitted and I highly recommend everyone do it! I thought I was a 38C, but I'm really a 36B. Once I switched bra sizes I noticed and felt a huge difference.

I shop at a local boutique where the owner is extremely helpful - listens to your needs, helps you find what you want, etc.

I only have 3 bras right now because they're really expensive and I don't really see a need for more. I have a black bra, and two nude bras.

2. Oh no. The only matched sets - I think there are two - were gifts. What I worry about re: bras and panties are two things: - does the bra look right under whatever top I'm wearing, and do I have VPL?

4. Yes. I am a 36C and have been since I got "the girls", essentially. But not all 36C bras fit the same, by a long shot!

5. No. I like my lingerie to be pretty basic - I want it to support me and make me look as good as possible. I save the fun prints and things for outerwear! :)

2. None of my bras/undies match. I'm like atlgirl in that all I care about is that the bra is right for the top and the undies are right for the bottoms.

3. I am usually rather limited to the colors I can buy - I'm small-ish, and aparently they like to make the small-ish bras in pastel colors and white. Nude seems to be left to the more 'supportive' styles, doesn't it? Because of this I actually do not own a single nude bra, horror of horrors!

4. I've been fitted, though I was incorrectly fitted. I refitted myself.

5. I also do not own any printed bras! The offerings in my size are rather limited, so my size and fun prints rarely cross paths.

Nordstrom and Bloomies exclusively. They carry my size, and they carry good, supportive bras in my size (I veer between 34D and 34DD depending on the company). I refuse to buy any more bras at VS because I'm spilling out of the last size they still have cute bras in (34D).

(ok I do get some from Agent Provocateur...they go up to F cups, but they're note actly everyday...)

Nope. Bras are matched to top and panties matched to bottom.

I have them, but I'll be putting them out of commission soon. They're Body by VS and they're definitely the wrong size! (36C...I'm wearing one today and the...uh..lack of support is murderous to deal with!)

Sizing myself was pretty disastrous...but I've gotten multiple sizes at VS (anywhere from 34DD which is right, to 36C to 38B...and they're all sister sizes but the fact of the matter is that one is always going to fit better). The SA's at Nordie's got the size right though.

I used to!! I had this awesome Joe Boxer bra that had a bunch of smiley faces on them. Of course at that point I was a 36B/34C and now I'm not. I'd clean out Gap Body except that their cute printed bras offer like no support!

Well I used to buy them at Target/Walmart etc, and I had a boatload because they're cheap! But once I got professionally fitted (I had to go to a specialty store to get my correct size told to me, all the department stores just tried to lie to me and shove me into whatever they had available...awful!). But since I'm such an irregular size, I either go to specialty stores or buy off of the internet. I'm opposed to spending $80+ on a single bra, though, so now mostly I buy off of ebay because I have my size set up as a favorite search. I bought a few full price in the beginning, so now that I have a good amount (4 at the moment, which isn't a lot but is still functional) I can wait around for really good bargains.

Well, like I said, I only have about 4 basic bras at the moment. The panties that are a matching set with the bras I buy end up being like $30, which I think is ridiculous for panties! I usually do coordinate the colors, though, just like my clothes - usually I'll only wear certain color panties with certain color bras, etc. It's kind of dumb since I'm usually the only one who will see (I only see BF on the weekends), but I still do. I still buy my panties at Walmart and Target, though

I don't own one, and I hate them. The only one I would consider owning is a certain pretty lace one I've been hoping to find for cheap. But that'd be for fun - for function, I hate white bras. They make me feel gross, and you can't wear them under anything because they are so bright under light tops and I'd be worried about them being seen through dark, anyway. The lightest color bra I have is nude.

As I said, I was professionally fitted. I measured myself following directions online one day, and I didn't believe the outcome(32DDD/32F) so I went to about five different department/chain stores to be fitted. They all tried to just tell me I was a 34DD, which was completely wrong but they all just said that to get me to buy. Finally someone in Frederick's of Hollywood honestly told me that they didn't have any bras in my size, which is when I tracked down a specialty bra store. I discovered that there are none in the city where I live! So I had to wait until I went home to visit my family and went to one about 20 minutes away from there. But as soon as they fitted me (and told me that I was the original size that I measured myself!) and put me into bras that fit, I noticed a humongous difference! I tried to wear a 34DD once since then to go hiking, because I didn't want to get my new expensive bras all sweaty. It was the most uncomfortable day of my life, because I knew how comfortable I *should* be at that point. I still think everyone should get professionally fitted - the good lingerie stores will take more measurements than I even saw mentioned online, like diagonal over your chest and around your back, etc.

I would, except my size is so rare that no fun/printed bras are even made in it

I get my fun/crazy out with my panties. I do love lingerie, though, so if I have a really pretty one and I can wear it, I do!

ETA: after I posted this, I realized how much I wrote! I just have a lot to say about bras, this year has kind of been a "bra revolution" for me because of all the work and effort (and tears, even!) I put into figuring out what size I was. It took a long time for me to finally go to that lingerie shop, but I always knew something was never fitting correctly. Anyway, I kind of have a love affair with lingerie recently, I've even entertained thoughts of opening up a lingerie boutique so I have a lot to say

Everywhere! TJ Maxx for some of my staples (Maidenform One Fabulous Fit) and then fun things on sale, Victoria's Secret and H&M every now and then for cute/special sets and then a specialty store for my nicest staples and cute/special sets.

I get them at department stores normally, because I like to be sized periodically. My favorite brands are Chantelle, Le Mystere - the dream tisha lace is incredible, Lejaby and Lise Charmel.

I like sets, but for basic, workday bras - I don't have a problem wearing non matching - I really like how Atlgirl put it!

Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack--Donna Karan fits the best. Haven't had much luck with VS, doesn't feel/fit right.

White looks pretty, but it's impractical since it shows under my clothes. If I didn't have to wear clothes I guess I would wear white. :) All my bras are shades of nude/creme.

I get all my underwear at Daffy's, which is a NY/PA area discount chain. Most of their clothes are terrible, but for some reason that escapes me, they consistently have gorgeous, high-quality lingerie from obscure high-end brands at obscene discounts. I've gotten stuff there from eberjey, hanky panky, belabumbum, mary green, honeydew--all really nice brands that make adorable stuff for small girls!

I have a few matching sets, and a bunch that don't match but the colors look nice together, and then I just have a bunch of random colored bottoms that I wear when I need to wear a nude bra.

After many years of experimenting with different brands, I buy almost exclusively from the Jockey outlet with the occasional purchase at gapbody when there's a good sale.

I usually buy my bras at a specialty store originally because my size isn't readily available elsewhere but now because I like the higher quality items they carry. If I see a bra in a brand and style I know fits well on e-bay, I will buy it if its new with tags as it is usually about 1/5th the price. I also wear a 32E like ttara. If you read this, check out Panache, Lejaby, Rigby & Peller and Fantasie for great European bras or a newer brand called Change for the pretty prints in a lower price range.

I have hanky panky thongs in many colors but don't usually match top to bottom. I usually wear a bra that looks right under my top and underwear that doesn't show through my pants or is black or nude.

I have a few very pretty white bras but don't wear them too often. The ones I have are by lejaby I think and they are gorgeous but I don't like that they discolor from my skin and the fabric is too delicate to bleach.

Professionally fitted but now I can size myself. The owners of the lingerie store joke about how I know as much or more about the lines and styles as their staff and sometimes themselves. They've offered me a job. LOL

I don't usually buy prints as they can't be worn under too many items but do have one very nice Panache Monet in burgundy with little flowers all over and a burgundy ribbon edge.
