i don't know if this is good or bad, so here's the entire deal.

i woke up this morning, and being the internet addict i am, i check my e-mail.  and apparently, i ordered a pair of joe's jeans (at full price! but in my size!) at 4am.  and it's being shipped to vietnam.

after a double-take and a hearty wtf, i e-mail them.  within 30 minutes (9:30am CST), i get a response from their fraud department, saying that they cancelled the order, that this asshat tried to order on my account since 10/5 with no success until now, and that my account has been disabled.

i'd be careful to not save any credit card information, just in case.  but they still have great customer service.

I have heard some horror stories about stolen credit card numbers online- does it help to set up a paypal account to use when ordering online?

ACK!! That totally sucks squishy. I would hate to have to deal with that, even if it does have a good outcome. It is good that you check your email and that they sent you an email about sending your jeans to some guy in Vietnam...
