Latly my once shinny smooth hair has been frizzy and the texture totally seems to be changing :( Anyone has a good recomendation for a deep conditioner , or a hair treatement??
regis salons have a olive oil hair mask that's amazing. It makes my hair really silky and gets rid of all my flyaways. Pretty cheap too! Oh, and it smells nice- not too perfumey (but not liek olives- don't worry! lol!)
Finger comb in extra conditioner in your hair when you go to bed at night, when your are planning on showering in the morning. Also, in the summer, do it before going out in the sun. Olive oil works good too.
if money is no object, i like fresh meadowfoam cream treatment conditioner- i think its around $35 for a smallish tube (but i only use a little toothpaste size squirt) I use that, with the soda shampoo, and some phyto 9, twist it up to dry then sleep on it, and my hair is really frizz free. They say dry hair frizzes because it sucks up water in the air, so using the conditioner and the phyto 9 leave in conditioner has done much more than gel or any products. I have wavy tends-to-frizz hair.
but i'm cheap, and i also really like the single use protein packs you can buy at sally's. if you are serious about conditioning your hair, and want to do it regularly, i really recommend getting a hooded dryer. you can get them really cheaply at target or wherever. (either the stand dryers or the cap ones)
I recently tried Sunsilk’s Hydra TLC masque and love it! My hair has not been this silky smooth in years (I use the flat iron everyday and my hair has been so dry).I ordered a free sample from http://www.gethairapy.com/. The site is really cool and they have products for all types of hair, there is even a fun quiz to take if you aren’t sure which products are right for you! Has anyone else taken the hairapy product quiz??
My mother swears by Ojon, the shampoo, conditioner & the little brown tub w/ comb. A lot of $ though.
A friend of mine reccomended Redkin Extreme this summer & it's worked quite nicely as well. Which of the above suggestions did you try, Allie?
