WOrk is sending me to Hershey Hotel in Hershey,  PA  Sat- tuesday.

Has anyone been?

The hotel looks really nice and we are getting massages at the spa. What else do you recommend?

MIKACAT!!! I live 10 minutes from there!! I recommend meeting me!

Anyway, aside from that, check out the outlets at Hershey and if you're into amusement parks, Hershey Park is a great one. There's also Chocolate World at Hershey Park. And there's a golf course, if you play golf. I've never been to the hotel (although, our company holiday party may be there this year-- I haven't decided yet), but from what I've heard/seen, it's supposed to be really nice.

Harrisburg is also quite close and there are some good restaurants there, as well as bars/lounges.

PM me if you want more details.

Ahh, Chocolate World...good times. Mikacat- you might wanna check to see if any concerts are gonna be playing in Hershey that weekend, there might be somebody pretty cool coming. Enjoy the chocolate scented air, my English Lit teacher in high school lived in Hershey and she refused to eat chocolate because the smell made her naseous after living there. For those who aren't aware of this crazy phenomenon, the air in Hershey smells like chocolate!

Hey, Jocey, I just responded to her PM and said that I'd say something to you about coming along and then I checked this thread and saw your post...

Anyway, I'm not sure. I'm not overly familiar with Hershey other than Hershey Park. I know that there are some good restaurants and outlets. So, I was thinking dinner and drinks. I'm looking around for some restaurants. I also thought of TJ Rockwell's, but I'm not sure of mika's car situation and I don't want her to get lost either.

It's not just Hershey, either. The M&M/Mars plant is in the town where I live and also has a factory in the town where I work. And the town where my parents live also has a chocolate factory (which, is sooo much better than Hershey, imo). So, there's just a whole bunch of towns here that smell like chocolate. It's quite the phenomen. No wonder I crave chocolate all the time since I moved here.
