Since there are so many mommies on here it's probably not a big deal to anyone else but It was just so neat to see the baby! It's only about 2cm big but I could see it's head and little arm buds. I also listened to it's heartbeat. So exciting!

Congrats!!! That has to be very exciting. I haven't ever experienced being pregnant but I'm sure when I am I will be excited over every little thing too. How far along are you? When is your due date (I'm not sure I've seen it posted but if so forgive me)?
Congrats Iam very happy for you!!! I still remember having my first ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat. This is amazing and something that you will always remember. For me after I had the ultrasound that is when it really sunk it... I was going to have a baby

Dude...we're all ST-baby geeks on here...I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we all love this kind of news. Congratulations on your first ultrasound, did you get to keep any pictures? Do they do that this early?

Yes I did get them to print out the pictures. Thanks for the congrats everyone
DH is just sure it will be born early in January (don't ask me why) but I am kind of hoping it will be a few days later and be a valentine baby. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
FashionPrincess- did you have yours yet?

Yup, and we found out that I am actually not as far along as we thought I was. I am actually only about 5 weeks. We did more bloodwork to confirm and will do another ultrasound later this week or next to hear/see the heartbeat. Thanks for asking It was really nice to see the round little egg sack right in the middle of the uterus where it's suppose to be!
Yay! So do you have any "feeling" about whether it is a boy or a girl?
not any strong feelings but for absolutely no reason I'm starting to think it might be a boy. DH's family is full of boys and mine is mostly girls so either way we're both happy. I think his mom would be thrilled if we have a girl though because she never had one.
Anyone else have a "feeling" of whether your's is a boy or girl? Or what you are hoping it will be?

well now I've had another ultrasound and the baby is still tiny- only about 6cm. but it's little feet were sticking up in the air and so cute I can't wait until we find out if it's a boy or girl. yay!
