E: I've been bad lately so I'm going back tonight to work out. 20 mins running, 10 mins walking, and 60 mins weights - legs, butt, chest, back, stomach
Do you job before HIIT or after? I've tried running before and it makes my HIIT experience much harder and much less productive. But then I feel like I couldn't jog afterwards... how much time in between?

blubirdie - I sort of do it in the middle. I jog about 2 miles then do 15 minutes of HIIT (rotating sprinting 30 seconds and then walking for 30 seconds) and then I jog another 1 or 1.5 miles. So, it's really 4 miles total not 4 miles in addition to 15 minutes of HIIT (my post was a little misleading, sorry). I started doing it this way because I was preparing for a 10K and I wanted to try HIIT but I also needed to run enough to sustain some distance. I think adding the 15 minutes of HIIT actually helped me increase my distance, which was good. I completed the 10K but I liked the workout so much I'm still doing it. Although, it's getting pretty hot here in Fla.
