I've been helping a guy whose applying to graduate school for an MBA with his letter of intent, and I have a question about how he should format it. Should he just put his name in a header, or should he address it as a real letter to a specific person, or should he title it as if it were an essay? I'm not sure what the expected format for the letter is.
i'm confused, i haven't heard of having to write a letter of intent for an mba program. i would probably format as a standard business letter and address it to the admissions committee (sp?) generally, or if there is a specific chair he can address it to her or him.
hmm when I applied for my master's degree i had to write a personal statement about myself and what I planned to do once I obtained my degree. For me there was a spot on the application for this so I just wrote it there in paragraph form.
