Yummy potatoes??
Permalink Closed

I plan on cooking dinner one day next week for me and my mom. I would like to cook some sausages and make something yummy with potatoes. But I dont have any clue on how to do the potatoes! Any ideas? I can either chop them into squares or whatever but what kind of seasoning or sauce should I put on them?

Aurora any of your awesome recipes I could use?

one of my favorite is to slice them into rounds and fry them in lemon juice with some chives. Yummy!

check out the shake and bake selection. They have specific ones for potatoes and you bake it in the oven. Very yummy!

ok, i will give you my favorite potato recipe.

you need about 5 or 6 large baking potatos.  boil them for about 15-20minutes.  let them dry.  stick them in the fridge to cool over night.  the next day when you are ready to prepair your potatos, grate them with a cheese grater or a food processor and place them in a mixing bowl.  next mix in 1-1 1/2 cans of cream of chicken soup, campbell's, it really does make a difference, 6-8oz of sour cream, and 1lb of mild cheddar cheese, salt and pepper to taiste.  mix this all together with the potatos well.  put the mixture in a 9x13 baking dish.  next grate another 1/4lb of cheese and cover the potatos with it.  put in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes, or until potatos are golden brown all around the bottom of the baking dish.  you will easily be able to tell when they are done.   take them out when done and let them sit for about 15 minutes to cool and firm a bit.  and your done.  these potatos are sooooooooooo good.  ask doodles.  we grew up eating these.
