I am so bad about washing mine. Personally I refuse to pay someone else to do it, since I have the resources to wash it myself. But then I never end up doing it.
So far this year I have washed my car twice. It probably only gets washed 5 times a year tops, but I do rinse it off with plain water every few weeks, or when it's really gross.

I try to go through the carwash at the gas station every week, but I also drive a ton. I commute drive over 100 miles a day, so my winshield gets gross pretty quickly.
I'm with everyone else, I'll only do it a few times a year. I always go to the gas station and pay $4 for it. It just takes forever when I do it myself, and then I get all wet and use all that water... it just seems like a better use of my time to let the gas station car wash do it! There's no regular time I do it, just whenever I notice it's dirty. Or I'm trying to impress someone. Or some punks egg it

I no longer have a car, but with my first beater, I basically never washed it unless it was so dirty that the headlights were caked with dirt, like after a bad snow.
I never, ever cleaned the inside and it was so gross! In fact, one summer I kept smelling a stinky feet smell everytime I got in my car. I was really paranoid at first that it was my feet and I only could smell them in the car because it was a small space. So after a few days, I decided I needed to find out where the smell was coming from. I discovered a rancid, half empty, solidified mocha under the driver's seat, most likely left by a passenger sitting in the back. It was definitely the source of the stenchl!
After I got my new car, I washed it once a week the first 6 months, and then it was like 3 times a year after that.
I've been bad about it lately. The longest time I have gone through without washing was I think 4 months, and the only reason it got washed was because I was bringing my car in for maintenance and they always wash it up!
In the summer I will wash it myself maybe once a week. I give it a good scrubbing, I will even get under the tire area, Rain X the windows, tire shine, etc. No spot left untouched.
I hate spending money at the car wash! Last one I went to was $6, and that was for the cheapest wash with no blow drying and came out dirty! Never again!
Well, I get my oil changed once every three months and they give me a free car wash - so once every 3 mos. I get it cleaned inside & out. In between, I try to run it thru the automatic at least once a month.
Depends on where we live at the time! In Oregon, because it's pretty moist/humid there isn't alot of dust, so when it rains you get a good rinse and we probably wash the car maybe 2 times a year there because that's really all you need.
In Spokane and Denver, it's considerably dryer and the car gets super-duper dusty - then when it rains/sprinkles it makes dirty spots all over the car as it dries. However, it inevitably rains the day after you wash your car here, thereby requiring a new wash, which causes it to rain again, etc, etc. We've lived in Denver a year and washed our car 2 times, tops, because it's pointless to do it more!

I'm really bad about washing mine too. I have DH's brother do it when he comes to visit which is 1 or 2 times a year lol. Occasionally if it's really dirty I talk my brother into washing it for me at the car wash. His daughter thinks it is the neatest thing. Sometimes DH lets some kids down the street wash his car or motorcycle for some ice cream money. They are always excited to do it. DH got a power washer a couple of months ago so maybe I will talk him into washing mine more often for me now.

I am pretty lazy about washing my car, so I pay 20.00 a month to have it washed inside and out. I really cant stand to go any longer than that, it starts to get to me when its too dirty.
I'm like most of you, I rarely wash my car, Joe usually does it for me. But for me, I've washed it myself maybe 3x's, since I got it last year........LOL

Ummm....like never. I think I washed my car in 2005 once. Not yet in 2006. We don't have a garage, so it's always getting dirty and the paint is chipping off the hood anyway, so even if it is clean, it still looks like crap. It's just not a big priority for me. I should clean it out sometime soon though. It's looking rather nasty on the inside.
I need to wash my car more often. Lately I am to cheap to take it to the car wash and to lazy to do it myself. Normally I can sucker my boyfriend into washing for me, but he has been busy lately. It also doesn't help though that where I live doesn't have a spot to wash your car. So that is always my excuse.
