I really don't know where else to post this, but after trying on tons of shoes this past weekend, I came to the realization that my foot is now definitely a half size, even a full size bigger than this time last year. I know feet supposedly grow with pregnancies, but I am 29 years old & have never been pregnant. So why are my feet growing?
It's annoying! Not because I think my feet are too big now, but because I have so many pretty shoes that I'm not going to be able to wear anymore. I don't even want to think how much money is invested in my shoe collection.
Sigh. Such is the sad reality of getting old...

That's a good question. My weight always seems to fluctuate ~5 lbs. Right now I'm probably closer to the higher end of that due to bc pills. However, I've been on and off bc for 10 yrs. (7-yrs straight somewhere in there) and it's never affected my foot size. The only explanation I could come up with is that it's a sign of aging :( Has this happened to anyone else?

This happened to me too. Sometime between 29 and 31 (my current age) I went up a half size. I didn't gain weight during that time, in fact I've lost weight.
I can still wear all my old shoes, but when I buy shoes I now half to buy a 1/2 size up.
I'm so gald you posted this. I'm 29 as well and I swear my feet have grown. I used to be a 7.5 or 8 and recently I'm more like an 8 or 8.5. At first, I just assumed the shoes I was buying were running small but this past month I've been wearing some of my summer shoes that I haven't worn since last summer and they really seem too small. I haven't gained weight either (in fact I think I've lost some). I have no idea why this would happen!?
My feet have also grown - and are also wider, I think thats the main problem with shoe fit. I can wear all my old shoes still, luckily - but wear about a size larger or even more sometimes.
