Also just in case anyone didn't know they don't have a price match policy so even if its 31 days after you purchase an item they will adjust the price for you.
Have you guys heard the story about the little old lady whose husband had purchased 4 snow tires and passed away before he had them put on the car? She returned them to Nordstrom's and they took them!!! They don't even sell tires. So, I met a buyer ofr Nordstroms and I asked her if that story was true - she said it was! Love them....

How do you return something to a store you didn't buy the item from? This story makes no sense to me.

the story is true. a woman who works for our company used to be a buyer for nordstroms and she confirmed it. also we studied it in one of my marketing classes in college.
apparently nordstroms bought out a smaller department store chain and that previous chain had sold snow tires. and nordstroms being nordstroms returned the snow tires.
i nordstroms. i knew they price matched (and coupons too!) b/c i did it this past fall with my Miss Sixty Dance Boots
Update on price adjustment policy. Apparently they now have one in place and its 2 weeks after you purchase an item
I don't blame them for putting one in place. They were probably taking a loss. Even if it was a small one it is one that could be prevented by putting a policy in place and won't cause them to loose any customers. I Nordstrom. They have taken back things I have had without a tag or a receipt and given me a gift card.
