I just started my internship today! I am the proud new bottom feeder of a gaming/gambling magazine! I'd been eyeing this internship for a year before I applied, and with only 2 semesters left before I get my degree I thought this would be the best time so I could make the most of my last semesters. After my interview I had to wait three weeks while they interviewed everyone else, and of course it absolutely killed me because I'd already waited a year! -BUT- I got it, and I just went in for training today, and it only made me that much more giddy. This will be the first job I've had that isn't working for my family (I love my family's business, I really do, but when you've grown up there and worked there since you were 11.... it's nice to have a bit of a change!), so even though it's only $5 an hour I'm soooo happy.
