Panini from Panera
Permalink Closed

The other day DH and I went to Panera Bread (St. Louis Bread Co.) for lunch and I got the Smokehouse Turkey Panini. Omigosh, it was sooo good. It is now Wednesday and I haven't stopped thinking about it, I'm obsessed! I'm a total cheeseburger kind of girl, but this could be my new favorite sandwich of all time.

I love paninis so much... I think I am going to get a panini maker. There's just something about the warm sandwich with the crunchy bread... mmmmm!

Smokehouse turkey is my favorite one!  Yummy!  This isn't a panini, but I also adore the Bacon Turkey Bravo, which you might like too, since turkey bacon and cheese are involved.  But i do sub three cheese bread and get cheddar instead of Gouda.

oooh I love panini's.  My favorite is mozzarella with basil, pesto, and roma tomatoes (and I hate tomatoes).  Other good ones are chicken, cheese, and pesto or fresh rosemary and also procuitto, fontina and basil with italian dipping seasoning.  I put some EVOO on each side so they don't stick.

I make my own at home with the george foreman grill and they come out great. Now I think I might make one this week for dinner since I have all the ingredients.

I typically just look at restaurant menus to see what they make theirs with and then copy it at home.

it's grilled between two heavy plates (thing george foreman grill) so that it gets squished. They are divine! Something about heating a sandwich makes it taste soooo much better!
