Mine was a 1984 Mercury Topaz. Geez, I was 2 years old when the thing was made! I bought it for $700 when I was 19. I loved it, the red seats were soooo comfy! Me and my sister would hang out it even parked in the driveway just to get away from our mom!
The first day I got it I bought those beaded seat covers since it was so hot and the car had no air conditioning! Such fond memories! I had to sell it two years later for $450 since the radiator was needing replacing since my sisters boyfriend touched the car and ran it to the ground.
Like this one except it was grey with red interior.
1987 Honda Accord, I loved this car...I drove it until it had 280,000 miles. then someone offered me $500 for it so I sold it and they drove it for another year and they drove it 120+ miles a day for another year!
the very first car i drove around in high school was a gold thunderbird (don't remember the year, but it was probably an '87 or so). when i went to college i leased a teal green escort. i LOVED the color at the time but it makes me cringe just thinking about it now.
honda civic del sol was the first car i actually bought with my own money. it was my dream car at the time and seeing this picture makes me miss it!
A 1992 subaru legacy sedan. I loved that car so much. It never gave me any problems, even at 200,000 miles. It put me on the path to being a huge fan of Subarus.
Here is a picture of it after it died and is literally being towed to the donation place. P.S. that is the trashy neighbor's giant RV in the background, not mine!
And this is the car I got to replace it. It's the first car I bought with my own money. 2005 Chevy Cavalier

I came, I saw, I did a little shopping.
A 1983 Nissan Sentra. I bought it with my graduation money for $1,200 & sold it a few years later for $1,200. It was a good car despite the fact that it was baby blue & the front panel was a slighty different color blue.....
fun poll

1994 Dodge Spirit. I'd probably still be driving it if some stupid girl didn't rear end me (actually, probably not, but that's something I say )... I miss that car. I hated it at the time, but it was so good to me.
