since Foot Locker has a coupon code right now, I wanted to try shoes there, and have zappos price match it so I avoid taxes.  I know, i'm being super stingy, but the shoes are $165.  so, this is my epinions.com review of foot locker.  i'm SOOOO disapppointed in their CS (enough to write an online review).  after talking to two stores, the online CS, the in store CS, and a CS manager, they ALL were unwilling to help me. 


I called online Foot Locker CS to find Asics running shoes after I had called two stores in the Chicago area. The two stores didn't have the shoe. There are 26 stores within 10 miles of my house. The CS was SO unhelpful, and so behind the times with their technology that they couldn't locate, in the computer system which stores actually carry the Asics brand (just the brand, not the shoe). They wanted me to contact the stores directly. Well, there are 26 and the 2 that I contacted didn't carry them. I find it ridiculous that their CS was unwilling to help me locate them. Foot Locker does not care about it's customer enough to make $165 off of them. Their service is awful, their locating system is awful, and in general could care less about a customer. I will never buy from them.


i just thought i'd share.  this will make me even happier buying from zappos.

I'm sorry for you!  I haven't purchased anything from any of the footlockers for around 8 years because of their customer service! 


I went in with my husband (then boyfriend) to look at shoes for him.  One of th SA's glommed onto him and went on and on about how he (hubby) looked like Troy Aikman (he doesn't).  Hubby tryed on 3 pair of shoes, none of which he liked, so we decided to look elsewhere. 


The SA was so rude!  He actually said, "Thank you taking my time."  Needless to say, we have never gone back!
