Is this the same thing? Sephora has a starter package for $60 & ULTA has a starter pack for $45 plus coupons / coupon codes that don't come out as often for Sephora. Looks like the difference may be the brushes included in the Sephora set? I am just trying to make sure it's the same product...I think I'm ready to switch.
Sorry if this is stupid, but i've tried the bare escentuals foundation powder at a friend's house & was surprisingly pleased with the coverage so I want to make sure if I get it somewhere else I don't end up buying the wrong thing....

Two things: 1) go to Sephora and get one of the salespeople to try it on you. That way you know how everything looks from the set. The salespeople are very helpful. 2) If the difference is the brushes, I'd get the Sephora one with the brushes. Those things were pricey all by themselves - worth the starter set alone. Good luck!
Oh, and I think they're the same. One's the company and one's the product (I think).

I hate to ask a load of stupid questions, but do you go with no foundation on? to the mall? I mean, I use a full coverage foundation now & it would be very conterproductive to have it on - do they have you take off your base in the store? I've never done the whole "mall makeup" thing so I'd rather ask ya'll stupid questions that look like a dumb a** in sephora.

Laken, I've done it both ways - I'll go to the mall without makeup and make a bee-line to the cosmetics counter. Then they don't have to hassle with taking it off. But it's ok to wear make-up too, but be sure they take it off before figuring out what your skin color is and testing stuff.

Laken you crack me up. You can go with your makeup on. Sephora will take it all off for you before reapplying the bare minerals stuff all the way down the the eye shadow you have on. Its no biggie.
Yes definitely buy the BareMinerals kit. I met Leslie Blodgett this week and was made up by one of her makeup artists and was totally impressed by the products. I am buying the kit this week. You get a great selection of her products and brushes when you buy the kit, and it's a lot more cost effective in the kit than the products indvidually. I like the one Sephora sells.
i agree completely===the kit rocks. It really helped my skin, redness and oil problems.
