They look interesting...but you never can tell. I've taken makeup artist classes before, and I've loved them, but these seem pretty pricey. Anyhow....any advice or experience on any of the workshops would be great. I'm not from CA, but I would travel to do something like this. Thanks
these classes sound neat. i've never been to fred segal ones, but i also recommend looking into local and national beauty shows. they are typically a lot cheaper, and have a lot more variation to offer. (plus big discounts on products) i usually go to ibs new york every year. (except this year, it's a little too close to my due date) chicago midwest beauty show is also pretty cool. both tend to be more hair-centric, but there are a lot of great classes for makeup artists. most tend to focus on editorial work...
also, not sure if you already are a mac professional member, but they offer classes throughout the year that seem pretty good.
Thanks Erin, I'll check all of those out. I'm also looking for something that focuses on editorial work too so that's no problem. I run my own beauty website, and I am always looking for ways to brush up on trends, techinque, etc and these classes seem really interesting. Thanks again for the advice.
