I bought this vintage dress couple of weeks ago. It has flared 3/4 sleeves and it's 100% wool. At first I thought about taking off the beading around the neck and the sleeves, but trying it I thought I'd look just like a big black lump without it, it kinda brightens the outfit. I am most likely to wear it with those boots, so here it goes:

thoughts? should I take off just a few rows, or replace them? Or use the dress to sudt my furniture?
I agree, the beading makes it really eye-catching. The dress is pretty unique, taking it away would make it looks like a black potato sack. Also, if you took away only some of it, I fear that it would make the dress looks really cheap or worn.
