Driving Pet Peeves

Pretty much everybody gets on me nerves when driving, lol

Some specifics:
-Not using a turn signal. Hello, they were put in cars for reasons!!

-Slow drivers, especially in the left lane

-Tailgaters, especially when I'm already speeding well over the speed limit.

-People who obviously shouldn't be talking on cell phones while driving; They're the ones who are drifting over lane markings, going 2 mph, etc.

I get severe road rage, drivers in CA are the worst!

1) When trucks are in the fast lane! They are not supposed to be there, and they pass each other and block the whole freeway when they do this since one drives mildly fast than the other.

2) When people cut you off, and then drive slow! I mean if you are going to cut someone off, at least have the deceny to speed up.

3) When people wait until the last second to merge. So many cars go into the shoulder, merging onto the freeway last minute to avoid those extra few cars in traffic. Grrr

4) When people switch lanes when there is not enough room at a stop-light, and basicall block two lanes trying to make their turn. Why don't they just go straight and make a u-turn!

5) Slow people that speed up once you switch lanes and try to pass them. I mean, they treat it like a competition or something. If you were going that fast in the first place, then I wouldn't have needed to pass you!

Ok Sorry....I get so much road rage. There is a lot of traffic on my long commute. Eek just talking about it gets me riled up. Rant over

rocky, mine is the people who have to get in and cut you off and then drive slow, too--hate that! what is the point, seriously people.

my other one is related. i hate when i am being nice and slow down to let someone get in front of me and they just stay there, driving slowly, waiting for me to put my car in park on the freeway because three cars lengths simply isn't enough for them to come over. so annoying!

-people who slow waaaaay down BEFORE they get into a turn lane. I understand slowing a little, but there entire purpose of a turn lane is so you have room to slow down.

-people who expect you to let them turn in front of you when traffic is heavy/backed up. I never do this, because it actually makes you liable if the person gets in an accident. Which means I get lots of dirty looks.

-going below the speed limit.

Oh no...I'm getting angry just thinking about it! That is seriously the worst thing ever. It happens to me pretty much every day, too. I don't get it. There will be no one behind me and they feel a need to cut me off. They would just have to wait 2 seconds. Sometimes I just drive around them as they are turning.

I also hate when people drive through one space to the space in front of it (unless there are a lot of spaces). I will be getting ready to park someplace and then all of a sudden a car pulls through to the space. I don't understand that. Why? So they can be 5 feet closer to wherever they are going? The worst is if a car is behind them and they can't back up when they notice I'm about to park there. I drew a picture to illustrate because I had trouble explaining it.
