1. One piece or 2 piece?  I can only do 2. I prefer bikinis. I have a tankini for when I need something more conservative but have only worn it once or twice.

2. Describe your perfect suit... style, color/print, etc. I prefer a halter top with a bottom that is low cut but has ample coverage in the seat. I like things that show off my hourglass shape rather than my, um, assets. And I'm a fool for polka dots... can't have enough polka dotted bikinis but I also like whimsical prints like cherries, whales, Lilly, etc.  I like bright jewel tones, but also basic black and brown for colors. Something like this is perfect...

3. What do you use for a coverup? I have several paeros but I never know how to tie them. So I usually wear one of those Juicy crochet dresses from last year (regular Juicy tubes are too short) and I have a few casual lightweight skirts that I pair with a tank top. If I want to go all out, I have Lilly Pulitzer caftan that is rather fabulous.

4. What's on your wish list/ shopping list for swimwear & related accessories? I'd love to find something in a toile print... I regret not buying one of those Shoshanna suits a few years ago. I also love the VS Very Sexy bras and am curious about the swimsuits, but I don't really like any of the ones out now. One thing I really want is a cute pair of shoes to wear by the pool on vacation, I love these VS slides and they're only $20!

1. One piece or 2 piece? Either.  I have bikinis, tankinis, and full suits

2. Describe your perfect suit... style, color/print, etc.  It would cover my rear, and not creat four cheeks, it would accentuate my chest and not be flimsy and stay on, be very comfy, not have anything that would create wierd tan lines, and lengthen the appearance of my legs.

3. What do you use for a coverup? I have some old Charlotte beach pants I still wear, a black pareo, but I really love wearing tunics these days

4. What's on your wish list/ shopping list for swimwear & related accessories? Nothing.  I stocked up before Christmas for my vacations.  Here's what I got:

But, in brown

in gold

I haven't even gotten to wear this yet!  I received it after a vacation and after I tried cancelling the order, but liked it so much I am keeping it for this summer.

1. One piece or 2 piece?

All my swimwear are 2 piece bikinis.  I would love to get a tankini, but I can't find one that fits properly.  I guess I have a long torso, and they never come down as far as they should and still fit up top.

2. Describe your perfect suit... style, color/print, etc.

I need some padding up top and a halter helps make the girls look bigger too.  For color, I gravitate towards either pink or blue.  My absolute favorite bikini is brown with pink polka dots.

3. What do you use for a coverup?

I have some pareos - I like them, but I agree they are a pain to tie properly.  And they blow all around if it's windy.  I also like to wear a jersey skirt or denim mini with a tank.

4. What's on your wish list/ shopping list for swimwear & related accessories?

I really want this in brown/coral:

I want a new beach bag, but haven't seen anything interesting yet, and another pair of jack rogers, but am unsure what color to get.

1. One piece or 2 piece? 2 I only wear bikinis b/c I have a really long torso.

2. Describe your perfect suit... style, color/print, etc. I already found it. Its Roxy, brown pink and white flower print. Halter style which actually makes my small chest look va-va-vavoom, enough coverage on the bum. Similar to this one, different print

3. What do you use for a coverup? I never really wear one

4. What's on your wish list/ shopping list for swimwear & related accessories? I'd love to find another suit that fits as well as my Roxy.

1. One piece or 2 piece? one piece! i haven't worn a two piece since high school. i have a bunch of speedos for excercise, but the swimsuit i wear to the beach/etc is a vintage 60s swimsuit (similar to the picture below, but it is made of a thick cotton).

2. Describe your perfect suit... style, color/print, etc. i love vintage swimsuits, and really like this repro.

3. What do you use for a coverup? usually just a towel! the vintage suit i have has a dress cover-up that matches, but i feel silly wearing it.

4. What's on your wish list/ shopping list for swimwear & related accessories? new pair of flip-flops. i don't think we will go to the beach this summer, but i want to take the baby to the pool.

I like two pieces.  I'd feel a little trapped in a one piece.  I usually go for more modest with boy short style, but for the top I will settle for pretty much anything if it has good coverage.  As for color and prints, it has to look decent with pale skin.

1. One piece or 2 piece?  I only wear 2 piece; I always feel like one pieces are riding up on me.

2. Describe your perfect suit... style, color/print, etc. Something that will make me look hot, but yet camoflauge any not-so-perfect areas of my body.  I don't really have a color preference, except for I don't do pink, and floral patterns aren't usually what I like.  I like geometric prints and colors like blues, greens, purples, and reds.

3. What do you use for a coverup? I usually just do shorts and a tee, or a denim mini and a tee

4. What's on your wish list/ shopping list for swimwear & related accessories? I really want a JCrew tankini, since the shapes look perfect in the bottoms and top I want; I need to camoflauge some dreaded back fat, so the tankini style is perfect.  The JCrew bottoms I want also look like they'll be flattering on my hips too

Don't really have any accessories that I'm eyeing; I don't really go swimming much so I don't think about it a lot

1. One piece or 2 piece? I wear one peice b/c I still have some mommy belly I need to cover.

2. Describe your perfect suit... style, color/print, etc  I I need a v-neck or halter type on top. I have small boobs and the tank style just makes me look like I have been run over with a steam rollerI  like the legs to come up high and I like solid colors better.

3. What do you use for a coverup? I use shorts and sometime a towel.

4. What's on your wish list/ shopping list for swimwear & related accessories?   Iam looking to buy one soon and I think Iam going with the JC Crew ones . Some of the ladies gave me some good ideas a while back. I also want some flip flops and cover up to go with my suit.I have not bought a new suit in years . Oh and I would love a new beach bag to carry towels, sun tan lotion,  etc...

1. One Piece. I wear a performance back Speedo. I'm a fitness swimmer. I buy a few a year, lately I'm into florals.

2. Perfect Suit. A black Speedo. I'm a purist.

3. Cover Up. At the gym I don't need one. When I'm by the Lake, capris. In Hawaii, a Mu Mu !

4. Looking for. Some new Reef Sandals, some cute terry pieces to wear poolside

i just have to say, i want this model's hair.  it's the most perfect hair i've ever seen.

1.  two pieces.  i'd like a tank suit, but i haven't found one yet that i like.

2.  perfect suit is the halter top and low-rider bottom.  i have about 10 (most from j. crew and a few from this store in laguna beach that designs their own line) and i keep buying them every year.  the fit is just right on my body and somehow draws attention away from what i don't like.  i like prints and solids equally.

3.  cover-up is usually a jean mini and tank-top, or some kind of mini-dress/long-t-shirt thing.  i have a bunch of terry pieces from juicy that i love.  pareos tied around the waist look terrible on me, so i can never do it.

4.  always looking for more havaianas flip-flops in new colors (it is ridiculous the number of these shoes that i own) and maybe some shorter shorts that aren't tight.  i hate putting anything not-loose over my sandy wet bathing suit.

I'm such a cynic, 'cause I bet she has extensions.

ETA: Oh, and I know what you mean about the halter style top and low rider bottoms.  That style flatters me best too.

1.  I like supportive halters and low cut bottoms.  I've never really been a one piece person, since I have a bigger chest - there is never enough fabric in the right places!

2.  I've had really good luck with Shoshanna suits...I bought the white one with the cherry print and it's still going strong today almost 5 years later.  Even though I'm in LA I don't swim much...the ocean is freezing...and I don't really lay out unless I'm at the beach.

3.  Last year I got a really nice Jcrew Halter bikini...I think I'm going to get the same one in green this year.  Comfy and flattering!

4.  As for coverups, I have a tunic from J Crew...and I think I'm going to get one of their cotton gauze coverups this summer.

I may start to sound like a saleperson here...., but I'm a huge Beach Bunny fan.  When you first check out their suits, they seem cheesy and kinda playboy bunnyish.  Then you see one you think is cute, then two. All of a sudden, most of them seem really cute.

I have never gotten more compliments (from girls) then when I wear one....lingerie inspired and you shop tops and bottoms based on lingerie sizing (runs really small, I'm a size 4 and wear a medium bottom and large top.  I ADORE IT.  Never want to wear another suit and I have a million.
