I go to school every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On those days I do not eat breakfast, because I don't have time. So after my second class I buy a bottle of water and a kit kat or rice krispes(sp?) to get me by until I go home.
I know I shouldn't be eating candy everyday, because I'm trying to lose weight. What do you think is a better alternative? What are some of your favorite healthy snacks?
Baby carrots travel well. There are also a few brands of granola bars that would be good (kashi, south beach, etc). Nuts are good too - lots of protein.

Almonds are a great alternative to missing a meal, if you're going to snack. They have lots of protein, are easy to travel with, and fill you up for a long time with a small amount.
Also there are tons of cereal/granola/meal replacement bars out there that travel well and are great for missing breakfast.
What about a slimfast or an odwalla smoothie to take with you on your way to class or to drink during class?
Im not sure about this but... i was going to buy granola bars the other day... the nature valley ones, and i looked at the nutritional info and it seemed like they had a lot of fat/calories/sugars etc... one bar i think had like 9gms of fat. This seemed like alot to me, and they all seemed to be like that, and i didnt think a granola bar was worth that much fat... am i just looking at the wrong bars or what?

LUNA BARS!!!! I am hooked on these puppies. They are 99 cents at Target and if you find a flavor you like they are on sale at drugstore.com for $13 for a box of 15. I love the cherries over chocolate one and the carmel fudge brownie. They are packed with tons of vitamins, minerals, and fiber.

Luna is what i was going to suggest too. it helps my sweet tooth cravings plus they are super healthy.
i also find that nuts are good traveling partners as well as raisins.

Yeah, granola bars get out of control quickly. I eat the quaker low fat one - they are right about 100 calories & 0.5 to 1 gr of fat. Not sure about carbs & sugar cause i'm not a carb counter

in the mornings i usually eat a kashi granola bar (the honey almond flax) with an odwalla drink, one of the protein drinks. some of them taste like mud so you have to really expirement with one that tastes good to you. clementines are also really good to take because they are small, easy to peel, and don't have such a strong orange smell to them.

when i was in school, i had class from 8-3. i would always get an odwalla (superfood...the green one that looks gross but tastes pretty good). i would also get luna bars sometimes (however, i recently had one that didn't taste so great, so i'm turned off from them now).
i found oatmeal breakfast bars with those liter bottles of flavored carbonated water (that they sell at the grocery store for $80) another great snack option.
fruit, string cheese, and soy crisps also got me through.

I second this, and want to add veggies too. When I want to snack I usually want something more fun, like carbs, but if I am truly hungry then fruit and veggies practically taste like desert. I'm thinking you would be starved and I promise those are the best times for the healthiest foods -they taste better on account of being so hungry, and therefore make excellent snacking choices for the truly hungry.
If you're feeling like junk food, try the Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs. They have a bunch of kinds. I like Chips Ahoy cookies the best. They curb my craving for junk and taste like cookies, but in a crunchier form. Plus, one bag has 100 calories, so I feel like I'm splurging, but I'm not.
