Loccitane with 25% shea butter.... I really like it, its the second jar ive bought and its almost gone, and i have super dry skin and it works wonders... But would be interested in trying something else, maybe ill give the nars or shisheido a try? I still havent tried philosophys hope in a jar and im a total philosophy addict, so maybe i should try that too.. hmm
I didn't realize everyone uses moisturizer at night too... i only put it on in the day... is that maybe why my skin is so dry? Does it really help? whats the reasoning behind it? And are u suppose to use a different one for day versus night?

nicoley - It's really important to do a complete skincare routine twice a day. Your treatment step though, only needs to be done once a day (preferably at night while your skin is repairing itself). As far as day and night moisturizers are considered it really depends on your skintype. I, myself use the same moisturizer morning and night. Also, some people say that you shouldn't use a moisturizer with spf at night, but that's not true!!! It's just a marketing ploy.

aclassicbeauty: Can you further explain what you mean by a complete skincare routine twice a day and a treatment step once a day?
And I have a very dry skintype with some redness.... Any recommendations on day and night moisturizers? And maybe skincare routine/treatment?

I am using a gel moisturizer that my Facialist gave me for my oily skin.
However, I have a question--- I am on the look out for a really really light daytime moisturizer with SPF. I have found that they all tend to be heavier.
Does anyone use anything that is gel like or really light with SPF 15?
Day - Neutrogena Healthy Defense with spf 30. I used to use PTR but it cost too much so I had to switch, which is too bad because it really is the best.
Evening - I hardly ever moisturize in the evening although I know I should. But when I do, I stick with free samples of stuff. I have a ton of Estee Lauder and Lancome "night repair" moisturizers (my granny always gets the gifts and gives them to me).

Murad's skin perfecting day creme or lotion. I have the creme and it's been great.
