So, if I get into Lit. 479 and my parents front me the several thousand dollars it'll cost, I'll be going to London and Stratford to study Shakespeare this summer. I'm super amped for it. We'll be hardcore in the libraries, museums, classroom, theatres, etc. BUT, being a ST girl, I'm already thinking about the shopping.

I went to London once a few years ago, but I wasn't into fashion like I am now. I remember going to departments stores but that's it. Any tips on stores to go to? I heard about TopShop? Is that right or did I just make it up? Anyhow, I want boutiques or something different than what you would find in the states. Thanks for any advice ladies!

I don't know if this will help or not, but Lucky featured London in one of their shopping locations. You can look at their website.

Top Shop is fun. It can be a mad house sometimes though. Some great places to shop are: Oxford Square, Camden Market (my favorite market in the city), Portabello market, H&M, Marks and Spencers, Accessorize and check out the Office for shoes. *sigh* I'm jealous, I love London. Its really expensive though.

Also I hope you get to go to The British Museum. They have Cleopatra's mummy (her actual real mummified body), and so many other incredible artifacts. Its really astounding how much stuff they have.
