Yay!  I'm soooooo excited.  I decided to take the plunge and go on the tour by myself.  This is the most money I've ever spent on anything at one time, but travelling is always worth it.

For girls who went...do you have suggestions for clothes?  I don't need anything fashionable, just suggestions for something that is fairly modest, very comfortable, easily washable in the hotel sink, and breathable.

I went on a tour by myself to Egypt a year and a half ago.  I loved it!  It was seriously the best time I've ever had.  Here is a review I wrote on epinions:    Here are my pictures:

is that I did not bring my regular summer clothes.  I went out and wasted a bunch of money on conservative short sleeved t-shirts and linen pants from Banana Republic just for the trip because I got so many warnings about showing too much skin and how it could get you into trouble.  Once I got there, many of the girls on my trip wore cute tank tops and skirts while I looked frumpy and felt hot (temperature-wise) in my pants and t-shirts.  Yes, we were flirted with, but nobody was harassed or attacked based on what they were wearing.  The only time it seemed to matter at all was when visiting the mosques.  People had to cover up with robes provided by the mosque if they were underdressed.  For a regular day at the sites, I would recommend you wear whatever you normally wear in the summer.  Of course, it is up to you.  I would hate for you to have a bad experience based on my advice, but none of the girls on my trip who dressed in tank-tops, skirts, and shorts had any problems.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
