What are the specific little touches to an outfit or your overall look that you think makes a big difference in your appearance?
One for me has to be sunglasses. No matter what I'm wearing, the right pair really makes me look so much more put-together.
The other is my nails! I think having clean, neat, manicured nails makes a huge difference. I always have that little extra bounce in my step after getting my nails done.
For me putting on some earrings and necklace, I feel naked with out them
Also I love when my hair has just been colored and styled at the salon I wish it would always look that good
Christine I agree with you on the nails, because I just love the way it makes my hands look and it draws attention away from any other peice of clothing iam not liking at the moment
Having good hair is huge for me. I love my hair, but it cant totally turn on me. When I know I'm having good hair I pretty much automatically look hot.
*Like Maddie, my hair. If it's flat, dirty, or in a pony tail I don't feel put together.
*Earrings. I feel naked with out them. Except when I sleep, I always where them out in public, and usually it's just an oversized pair of pearl studs. Even when I work out I wear studs.
*Lipstick, another thing that I feel naked without. I think because my hair is so dark and my skin is fair, I need some sort of color so I don't look like Morticia Adams.
*Heels. Without them I feel really casual in jeans but once I have on a shoe with a high heel (even a wedge) I feel more dressy. Plus they make you look skinnier.
- hair is the #1. I have so few good hair days and when I do feel good about my hair, I'm rockin' the world.
- heels. I hate flats. They are less comfortable for me than heels, and I feel stumpy and dumpy in flat shoes.
- jewelry. I have loved jewelry since I can remember, even before I loved clothes. I don't go out (unless it's for exercise) without at least one piece of jewelry on, not counting my wedding rings.

Hair. Even tho' most of the time it's in a pony or a hairclip, I make sure it looks JUST RIGHT! LOL
Earrings! I must (since I love them so much) have them on every single day, even on the weekends. I just feel LOST w/out them! LOL
I don't necessarily need lipstick, but some type of 'gloss' (Carmex, etc.) has to be on my lips.
My watch - I'd like to know what TIME it is! LOL

Geez, maybe this is why I always feel like a mess, even if I have a cute outfit on! My hair is in a constant state of needing trimming and my nails are always a wreck.
But, I do find that I don't feel right at all if I don't have blush and mascara on.
Heels help.
When I'm having a great hair day, there's nothing stopping me. It's been such a long time since I've had one of those days that I'm thinking I'm needing a hair cut.
I didn't use to be this way but when I leave out without makeup I feel like crap.I'm definetly big on eyeshadow and brows- I have them threaded every other week.I can't stand ungroomed eyebrows especially when they look like big caterpillars on your face.
Hair.I don't feel like putting on cute clothes when my hair looks like Medusa.
I feel naked without earrings.
I must have on huge sunglasses. My favs are my big Chanels, and currently these gigantic Diors that I have from x-mas.IMO even when you look and feel like shit a pair of sunglasses glam you up a bit.
A good hair day, when my hair is super bouncy and full of body. I had one on Sunday when I went to Six Flags with my brother and I was just so happy that nothing could deter my good mood.
Make-up. I'm lazy and I don't care what people think about me so I often walk out of the house without makeup on, but I feel so much better when everyone isn't pinpointing on my acne scars.
Giant sunglasses. I could look like crap in sweats running errands but when I have my Chanels on I just look and feel awesome. It alos helps that they're pretty big so when I wear them I don't have to do eye makeup!
Hair - if my hair looks bad I just don't feel I can face the rest of the world. In fact, I've had a lot of bad hair days lately. I really need to do something about it.
It's funny you should ask, because I have just noticed how unfinished my outfits look without some form of necklace. I have short hair, and very small ears, so I generally just wear stud earrings. But a necklace...that brings everything together!
I also am a very big believer in a bit of lipstick and powder as part of the look.
And, because I live in LA, my big Dior shades :) Crows' feet stay away!
the right shoes. i can't even tell you how many times i have seen other people or my self for that matter in an outfit that would be great if it weren't for the shoes. i love heels, but my husband is so casual all the time and so are our friends. i am the only one who wears heels at all. a lot of the time i will get dressed and feel inadequit if i wear heels out on a regular basis, so i will opt for some flats or tennies, and wish i had worn better shoes.
i also feel that your hair can make the difference. it doesn't have to be completely done all the time, but doing a little something to your hair can make the difference between looking put together and looking like you threw some clothes on.
your purse. i love putting metalic purses on with casual clothes, but there are times when you can go a little over board with a purse that is way dressier than your outfit or an extremely casual purse with a dressy outfit.
lips. if you do your make up or not, at least chapstick makes a difference. i hate the dried up or chapped looking lips on a face that is other wise well done. i see people who have great skin and don't need a drop of makeup, but they have dry chapped lips and it ruins their beautiflul complection.
