Another update for you....


Last night I went out with the guy that my mother has been wanting me to meet (her co-workers' son). I actually met his mom out b/c he's in a band and the band was playing, so I was hanging out with his mom and sister until the band was finished with their set.  But anyway...I HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME!!!!! AHH!! This could seriously be the perfect guy for me.  I already knew a good amount about him since our parents have been obsessing over this for at least a year and I think our parents were right! Hehehehe!


On a side note, I'm starting to wonder if I'm functional on my own, b/c my mother is the one who initial found the job I am currently working at posted in the newspaper and now it seems, she found me a guy who isn't a moron!  Hehe. Go figure. 


Anyway, just thought I'd update you again.  I don't know how I'm going to concentrate at work today!  I'm all giddy!

I'm a huge supporter of taking any help you can get - just because someone else originally provided you with an opportunity doesn't mean that you still don't have to be the one to do well at your job and be interesting and smart to converse with the new guy, right?


Anyway, I'm so happy for you that things in your life are looking up finally .  And I must admit, my first though was "Wouldn't that be a great 'how did you meet' story?"! 


Q:  So how did you guys meet?


A:  Oh, our mothers fixed us up on a blind date and the rest is history.

So, at work today my mom and his mom were talking and she said that she got the same feeling she got with her other two kids when they met the people they were going to marry.  He has one sibling that is married and another who got engaged last night and apparently, his mom had this gut feeling from the beginning with both of them and last night she got the gut feeling again.  I'll keep you posted.  I think I have a gut feeling, too (which I've never, ever, ever felt before).
