i ordered a chair from them on 9-29 and im barely going to get it delivered to me this Friday. so annoying, but im glad its almost here. my husband almost wanted to cancel the order cause he was upset they were taking forever. i dont blame him but i couldn't have that happen cause i juiced him when it came to buying this chair. Heres my confession: Anthro's upholstery was on sale for the whole month of sept. and my husband didn't know so i just let him think i paid full price and i ended up buying me some cute stuff from there.
Hehe! That's funny (not about the hassle with your chair, but the telling hubby it was full price ). Anyway, glad you're finally getting your chair and can't wait to see pics.
i know... i ordered a lamp base from them last year and i think it took a good 3 months before it finally arrived. holy-longest-backorder-in-history!
i've got some other issues with anthropologie lately. namely, i made a wishlist on their site to help my family out if they didn't know what to get me for the holidays. well, last night my husband informed me that every single last item on my lengthy wishlist was no longer available. i can't stand it that they keep items up on the site long after they've been sold out.

However, I also had a couple other problems since then. Over Thanksgiving they did a "free shipping for orders over $150" and I placed an order that qualified. Well, they didn't give me the free shipping. In fact, they charged my credit card twice - once for the order and once for shipping. I've placed a call, but that has yet to be remedied. In the same order they "misplaced" one of the items. I'd ordered the last one in stock, so they couldn't just grab another one. Two weeks later they mysteriously found my item and shipped it.
I have about 3 other examples of bad CS at Anthro. It's a bad relationship. I know they aren't good for me, but I keep going back for more!
