I saw this in my Galmour email today and think I'll try it the next time I go out.  It looks subtle and easy to do.  Which is basically how I roll make up-wise.

The 2-Second Trick Thatll Make Your Eyes Sparkle and Pop

See how she has the tiniest hint of shimmer beneath her lower lashes, concentrated toward the middle/inner corners of her eyes? To do this, you can use a shiny metallic eyeliner, a bit of eyeshadow applied with a liner brush or even a smudge of skin highlighter (like Benefit High Beam), in a pinch. Anything that creates a subtle glint of light from under the eyes will help brighten that usually dark zone and make your eyes stand out more, like Thandies do here (even though shes got dark, sexy colors up top).

See, this trick will take two seconds, tops! Petra Guglielmetti

Are they pointing out the coppery shimmer that runs along her lower lashline or the subtle swoop of pinky-white highlighter under her eyes? I like the concept of the lashline thingy and how it's lighter on the bottom than on top.

I think they're talking about the tiny little bit of metallic under the bottom lash going towards the corner of her eyes. Normally having shimmer of even darker eyeliner makes me feel self conscious, but I think I could pull this off.

This is really pretty and subtle. I am going to try this next time I do a smokey eye.

I tried it yesterday and really liked the effect. It brightened the eye area without screaming "I have shimmer on!" I used a stiff eye shadow brush and some highlighter. Ran it softly from the center of my eye into the corner. With just some mascara and Stila's Kitten shadow on, the little bit of shimmer really looked pretty without calling attention to why my eye looked pretty. I think I'll be using this trick often from now on.
