How to prevent frizzy hair

Hearing my husband say it is realllly humid in Miami scares me that I'll be a big frizz ball when I go see him. What products would you ladies recommend me getting for my hair so that I can make sure I look my best for the hubby ;)

I use John Frieda's secret Weapon. It's a cream that I run through my hair after it's styled (and by styled, I mean blown dry and brushed. Yeah, I'm pretty high maintenance. I know.) I just put a bit in my hands, rub them together and smooth the hair down (I concentrate on the ends which is where I fizz the worse.)   It helps with my everyday frizz.  John Frieda products are actually on sale at Ulta this week if you have one by you (it's buy one, get one half off.  I'm planning of stocking up since I use other products by him as well.)

I've also got to tell you, when I was in Florida this August I had to just accept the curl.  It'll be less humid now than in summer, but my advice is not to try to fight it.  Miami may not be the place for stick stright hair.

I just started using this product by Living Proof, Straigt Making No Firzz Styling Treatment. You put it on damp hair before heat styling. I swear it's AMAZING! I have coarse hair that I blow dry and flat iron every other day, sometimes more often. I like the treatment product so much I think I'm going to try more of the line.

I've tried this stuff before too, and it works quite well. I think they sell a mini too. It's quite expensive. I still like good ol' john frieda frizzease serum.

I use Carol's Daughter Hair Milk every day, and that keeps my frizzies at bay. I use a teeny tiny amount. It smells like lemongrass.

I have a sample of the Living Proof.  I completely forgot about it.  I'll bet if you go to Sephora and ask for a sample, they'll give you one.
