I got this tip on how to apply highlighters in my email this AM from Glamour.  I know that we had a discussion earlier on how & where to apply it so I thought it might help someone.  The photos give a really good idea of just where to place it too. 

Look Extra Good in Your Holiday Pictures by Putting Highlighter in These Two Spots

Dont you just love it when lighting is set up at an event so you can really see stars makeup? Thats what happened at the Ripple Effect charity dinner, which is why you can clearly see the highlighter here on Emmy Rossum and Tiffany Hines. And thats really great because that makes it easy for me to tell you all about this shiny, shimmery stuff.

First, look at this pic of Emmy Rossum, who you can see has it on the upper part of her cheekbones. Next, look at Bones star Tiffany Hines, who you can see has it under the arch of her eyebrow.

Weve talked about this before, but since youre about to be in front of the camera a ton, I wanted to remind you that these are two great spots to put highlighter on the next time youre doing your makeup for something fancy. Not only does putting shimmer in these areas open up your face, but itll subtly catch the light so you look a little more glowy in all your photos. Beth Shapouri
