Hair dryer recs needed!
Permalink Closed

I'm going to ask my parents for a new hair dryer for Christmas.  My $20 Conair that I bought like 8 years ago isn't really cutting it anymore and I think it's time for an upgrade.  I'm thinking something less than $125 or so.  Any recs?

I use a Conair so I'm no help, but Kari has a thread a few down where some people made rec. It might help you.

Hey SmallFry! I'm doing good! Heartburn has really been my only issue--I got super lucky. Due Jan. 8, so it's getting close! We decided not to find out the sex beforehand, so it's going to be a surprise. We're super excited!

If we're talking gift, why not go for gold with the T3 featherweight?  I had a refurbished one from ebay.  It def made hair sleeker and dried faster but it died within 6 months of use.  Not sure if that was bc of the refurbish though.

I use the BabylissPro Xtreme, it's about $50.  I like it a lot, have repurchased after my last one fell and cracked.  It does a good job at drying without frying and has been my fave for years.  Only downside is that it's kinda heavy and my hand gets weak after a long blowout.

My mom just purchased a Speed freak at Ulta not too long ago (i can get the model # if interested) and we chose that one because of the recommendations and reviews. She's used it a couple of times already and can see a difference. I just used it yesterday for the first time and loooved how it left my hair feeling super soft, no tangles and straight. I only used the straightner to flatten out some hairs on the side of my face.

I think I will be buying one myself pretty soon.
