Ya that was my concern-- seems fishy. Plus I think the press would have at some point seen here pregnant. I mean the second a celebrity has a belly now they say she is pregnant well before she ever announces it.

This story fascinates me. Did she have an album out yet by 1984? If she was between Different Strokes and her first album maybe she could've hid a pregnancy. No one knew that she had married to Rene Elizondo until years later. hmmm.....

If it is true it's pretty tacky for the kids uncle to announce it on a radio show. Actually I suppose it's tacky either way.
