Can anyone recommend a good yoga tape? I've never done it before and would like to try. I do pilates tapes at home (Lotte Berk). I have a gym that gives yoga classes but since I've never tried it I'd like to try it out first on my own and then do it in a class. Plus it's nice to have something at home for days when I don't feel like going anywhere. Any help would be appreciated! :)
Do you have cable TV? Check out the Oxygen channel, they have a yoga program called Inhale. I believe it's on super early. Steve Ross rocks. If you like it, just tape a weeks worth of shows...
I'm so glad you posted this. I'm really interest in doing yoga but I've never done it and all the classes at my gym are advanced too. I just set my DVR to record Inhale and I'm going to try that tomorrow!
I have the first two Carmen Electra dvd's too. I used to do them all of the time but I haven't been feeling up to it. They were quite fun to do. You learn to do a couple of dance [number, sequences] that are pretty easy to follow along with. You could do them for your SO. I never did because I was embarrassed. But if you have that kind of confidence, I'm sure your honey would go gaga for it. I would recommend them though. They give you a pretty good workout.
ok, forgive me because I haven't actually SEEN her dvds, but I took a local fitness yoga class with Leisa Hart, who is famous for the Buns of Steel videos. Leisa Hart is a great instructor so I know that her newer yoga dvds have got to be good. www.leisahart.com
