I've had like one line of this song stuck in my head for days, and I'm drawing a blank. I can't for the life of me remember any more words or the tune or anything. Can someone help me, it's driving me nuts!! It's by a man (in my head it's Phil Collins, but I could be totally off) and it goes "She's just a lonely girl, living in..." that's it. Nobody can help me, but I thought I might have some luck with the clever STers.
Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train goin' anywhere Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
A singer in a smokey room A smell of wine and cheap perfume For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night Streetlights people, living just to find emotion Hiding, somewhere in the night
Working hard to get my fill, everybody wants a thrill Payin' anything to roll the dice, just one more time Some will win, some will lose Some were born to sing the blues Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on
(chorus)
Don't stop believin' Hold on to the feelin' Streetlight people

Ahh, so you have the White Sox theme song for the World Series in your head huh?!! LOL. You've come to other side, stephanie, haven't you?
Ha ha! Hey, since my Idiots aren't gonna win this year... why not the White Sox? Sox have to stick together, right So that must be why I have it in my head.
