Okay so they totally lied to us about the grandparents finding something. What losers. I'm not used to GG being so incredibly lame and cheap about their promos. What's the need?
Enough bitching. How touching was the last scene where Richard brought the dollhouse to Lorelai's house? And him questioning Logan about what Rory's plans were? So sweet.
I also thought it was really cute that Rory didn't know what a Birken was (yeah right!) . She should have been on this forum!
But I thought Logan was a dick when he went back for his phone the second time. It looked like even Rory made a face about his assiness. And the "I love you" statement? I'm not sure how I feel about it. It was sweet coming from Rory but seriously - at this point the boy can't say it back? I don't think I'd be as okay with it as Rory was.
Ugh, I know! all the commercials said there would be a big shocking discovery/secret and nothing happened at all! the big thing where the grandfather said "we need to talk about rory" was the LAST THING on the episode! grr! I literally shrieked "what!?!"
but yes, i thought it was too sweet that he brought her the dollhouse and i don't quite understand emily's motivations ...
and i think it was really unbelieveable that rory didn't know what a birkin was - it's not like that girl doesn't know how to dress - and so does her mom - totally decked out in marc jacobs last season - plus with her grandparents being that rich? yeah right. that whole computer cords comment was stupid - i think they've got a new writer or two on there b/c alot of things are becoming very unbelievable.
as far as rory and logan? i don't like him, and i don't like that she "loves him." he was a bad influence in the first place, and it all goes back to how i DONT BELIEVE RORY WOULD QUIT YALE. seriously people. i'm still pissed about that. and also, i don't ebelive that either she or lorelei would be that immature and fighting for so long.

I slapped my desk and shouted "No!" So irritating!!
This season is kinda bizarre. I do think Rory and Loreali will get back together soon. They're both being tormented by being away for so long.
I am so mad that they built up the whole "secret" thing and there was nothing. NOTHING! not even a dumb "oh my god, they're having sex" realization by the grandparents. wtf?
It was a good episode, but there wasn't really much in terms of plot pregression. It just kind of stands alone.
I loved Emily lusting after the birkin when they broke into the poolhouse (again, looking for what?!)
I was going to post, to see if i some how missed the secret, but you girls beat me to it. That was totally false advertising. Last night was boring, they need to do something to spice it up. It just seems like nothing really happens. I did think it was sweet that Richard brought the dollhouse. And I did did it was stupid that Logan couldn't say i love you back. I liked him at the beginning but I don't like him anymore. It seems like Rory can't be herself. But next week looks promising of some sort of reunion between rory and lorelai at her b-day party.*crossing fingers*

haha, me too!! I thought it was pretty funny that she freaked out over finding the birkin - hee! Oh and did anyone else think it was a fake birkin? It looked pretty skimpy to me. If it wasn't, they should have at least stuffed some tissue in it to get it to hold its shape better.
And next week does look awesome, doesn't it? It looked so dramatic! Do you really think Lorelai would show up at Rory's 21st bday at the grandparents if they haven't made up?
You know all that stuff that Emily was sending Lorelai? For a second I thought they were going to say Paul Anka was ordering things off the home shopping network. And I even debated in my head - cute or too much? Yeah, I'm a dork.
I know, the no secret thing killed me! The WB seems to always do that with their shows. They build up to this intense moment that never happens (ex: the guy will be on his knee and they advertise it as a proposal, when in the episode he is just picking something up off the ground).
I really, really, really hope that next week Rory and Lorelai get back together, but I'm not holding out for it for the above reasons. Oh, and whoever said that Rory/Lorelai seem out of character this season is so right. Rory completely changed when Logan came into the picture.
