Just curious. Where do you store your laptop when you're not using it? I ask because I always feel like mine has no where to go when I'm done using it (like at bedtime). I like for it to be accessible, so I don't want to pack it away in a bag and sleeve or anything. Any nifty ideas?
I plug mine in behind the couch, and run the power cord under the couch, and then I slip my computer under there when I'm not using it. That way I can use it from the couch and still have it on the charger, but can use it anywhere on the first floor and know I have an out of the way place to charge it when it needs it.
I have a second power cord upstairs in the den so I can move about the second floor in the same way.
I do keep mine in a bag for protection. But I'm a total klutz and if somebody is going to accidentally spill a glass of Crystal Light on it, it's gonna be me. I also like that I know exactly where all the cords and accessories are for it when I need them.

Suasoria - I know! The five mintues each day that I'm not on my laptop...
greendiamond - that is the kind of nifty I'm looking for. I live in a very safe neighborhood, but I still don't like to leave expensive and sensitive electronics sitting out--visible from windows. So you're idea does multi-duty: allows you to clean up, protect the laptop, keep the cords hidden but still accessible, and hide from people who wish to commit unsavory deeds!
My friend just had his laptop stolen from his house for, I think, the second or third time. I'm pretty sure it was visible through one of the windows.
