i have no idea and really don't want to think about it.... b/c i know if i actually knew the answer to this question it would make me sick to know just how much i spend!
$3000 for me also. I budget $1,500 for fall/winter and $1,500 for spring/summer. I tend to spend a little less in spring/summer tho, so I just put any extra in savings. I'm probably going to go over this fall tho, I've lost some weight and a lot of my clothes from last year don't fit properly.
I'd have to agree w/bex - I have no clue, and really don't want to think about it. LOL I'm sure it's quite a bit, but sometimes what I don't know won't hurt me, esp. when it comes to MONEY (spent on clothes). LOL

Hmm, clothes alone, probably $2500-$3000. I always spend more on fall and winter clothes than I do on summer clothes. I think it's cos I always get an especially strong urge to shop right about now. (Although, admittedly, the more time I spend on this forum, the more I get these shopping urges, year-round!) So I probably spend about 2k in the fall and the rest on spring/summer stuff.
Same here Nunzi! If I spend over $1000, its probably because I need some big items (boots, coat, etc). I know I def. don't spend more than $1500 on everything combined all year.
Probably around 4,000 a year on clothes. I hate this game. I added up how much I'd save if I didn't get fake nails once and that just made me sick. Boo!

Ditto on this! I would be so mad at myself if I knew how much I actually spent cause I know that that money can be put to use elsewhere, like bills and such.
Looking at our Quicken data from last year and this year, it looks like I spend about $2000 each year (give or take) - but that's on *everything*, including handbags and shoes. So...that's about $167 per month.
Heh. I'm more frugal than I thought I was! Yay!
