You girls are so sweet about your Angels. They seem like nice boys. Too bad my south side boys are going to school them in the ALCS!!! GO WHITE SOX!!!! ...let the trash talking begin...
Ahh indeed - let the trash talking begin. The White Sox are going to kick butt!!! Go Sox!
first of all, the ball NEVER hit the ground, I saw plenty of replays and the announcers even said it. and the STUPID ass umpire called an out 2 TIMES, so of course the Angels started heading to the dugout.
So how much do you think they paid those umps????? I'd be ashamed to have to win that way. The only way they can win is by not playing by the rules.
Be nice ladies. You know that if the same thing happened to Guererro when he was up to bat in the top of the 9th you would have taken it. I know that you are the "Angels", but we all have a little devil in us when it comes to getting a W for our team. The Ump didn't call him out, he called a strike and looked like the catcher trapped the ball in the dirt with his glove. Pierzynski did the right thing by running to 1st. The catcher should have tagged him - that is a fundamental of baseball that you learn in little league.
As we say on the south side though, "Winning Ugly Is Sweet".

if it would have been Molina as catcher im sure he would have done it just to be safe. hes a bomb ass catcher im not mad at CW, im mad at the stupid umpires! yes, if it was turned around on us we would be happy but still, it would have been wierd to win a game that way.
i have to disagree, the umpire called him out twice, at least for sure the last gesture he made was an out, thats why the Angels started walking to the dugout. I was just furious (at the umps), you cant blame me.
buy hey, well see what happens Friday, talk to you then girls

I agree w/Farrah - it's not the White Sox's fault, and I would not say that's the only way they can win - they didn't get to the post season by "cheating". Pierzynski did what he should have done, he wasn't called out. The catcher should have tagged him. I was surprised that the Angels manager handled it w/so much class after the game at the Press Conf. It may not be the best way to win, but they still won. Sorry girls!
