I usually work out at home (I have hand weights and a treadmill) but I tend to slack on core and strength training. After a long(LOOOOONNNNGGGG!) tax season, I need something to kick my butt and help me get toned. I have a YMCA pretty close to me. They have some classes that fit my schedule and seem reasonably priced (I think I can pay per 8 week class without having to join the Y for a whole year.)
Has any one had any experience with classes at their YMCA? Is it worth the 8 week commitment?
Thanks, Ladies! The class I really want is very compatible with my schedule and the description is exactly what I'm looking for in a strength class. I have to fax my registration in on Monday so I won't be able to check it out before hand (plus I'm still working 6 days/11 hour days for a another few weeks anyway so I couldn't go even if there was more time before registering .) I think I'm going to gamble on it and sign up for one class.
