I'm in love with my new Green Tea perfume from L'Occitane. It smells so amazing I put it on before bed, and I've had multiple guys comment on it. And it's cheap! And cutely packaged!
I love Amazing Grace by Philosophy, Stila Jade Blossom, and Burberry Brit. But like Lisa said, they might be off depending on what you like.
Another fun way to shop for perfume is to go to Sephora.com, type in the name of a perfume you like and search. When you find it, click on it. Under the description, it will say "See more: Floral Oriental" or whatever, and it will give you suggestions. A lot of people tend to like the same "family" of fragrances, so it works.

I don't know how you feel about sweet scents (I know they're not for everyone) but I'm currently OBSESSED with Pink Sugar. I got it as a sample in my most recent Sephora order, and I love it.
My all time favorite is Lancome Miracle. I've stayed away from it for two years since it got to the point where I couldn't smell it anymore.
I also like the smell of Dior Addict from paper samples in mags. I rubbed that on and could smell it all day, nummy! This is going to be my new perfume once I run out of Ralph perfume which I don't like anymore.
I just wanted to say that after wearing my Marc Jacobs perfume for a day, I did not like it anymore. I think I may have accidentally put on too much but I was nauseous from it after a little while.
I exchanged it for Jewel by Alfred Sung. Again, I liked it at the store and am now not sure that I like it on me. I actually couldn't really smell it on me. I know this doesn't mean that others can't smell it on me but I just wish I could know if I like the way it smells ON ME as opposed to on a card at the mall. I'm so frustrated with this whole perfume thing!
Like some of the other girls, I love Burberry Brit, especially for fall/winter. I only use a little though b/c I'm really sensitive to perfumes and sometimes they make me feel nauseous!

Dior Addict is a great scent but it's VERY strong. Def. more of an evening scent- it's much more intense than the samples make it seem.
some of my favorites are: Cinema by YSL Burberry Brit Prada (my current fave) and my friend let me borrow Nina Ricci "Love in Paris" (i think that is the name) and i it. it is on my wish list!
