Hi! I came to USA with what I thought plenty of education & a profession that got me more frustration, misery & undemployment that I ever could imagine. So, after numerous examples of girlfriends of the same age who continued their education, all being moms, I decided to go down, or hopefully up the same road: just got accepted to M.A. in clinical psychology ( my long time interest) in Antioch University, LA. I also have to keep raising 2 kids & hopefully work part time, we need an income....WORRIED....
Congratulations, Yana! Where there's a will, there's a way, and the time you'll spend getting that graduate degree is only a short period of time in your life. The sacrifices you will need to make to make this happen will be worth it. You will figure it out. Have you looked into financial aid? That's what I did...
Out of curiosity, where did you move from?

Thank you, ladies! To D: I moved from Israel & there I moved originally from Ukraine, so USA is my 2nd immigration:) & yes, of course, I applied for financial aid...blurs that future a bit...
Congratulations! It is worrisome, but college as an adult is so much different than when you are 18-22. I found it much easier and I was much more willing to pester the teacher if I was struggling. I got my master's as an adult while working full time and wasn't too often overwhelmed (although throwing 2 kids in the mix may have changed that). Best of luck to you!
