I have an interview at an ad agency in 30 minutes to discuss Account Planning and also freelance Copywriting. Cross your fingers (again).
UDPATE: Well, it went pretty well. He actually started talking to me about an entry-level creative position, which would be ideal. As of yet, they have no full-time, in-house creative people, they outsource everything, but at the moment, they are debating bringing on a full-time entry-level creative to grow with them (Meaning work up to Creative Director!!!). This would be ideal. And this is what the guy said, "I would love to tell you to pull up a chair and grab a computer right now, but we aren't sure if the company is there yet, but we are definitely debating it." This is actually the place where my roommate got a job (hers is part-time account assistant) so I dropped her name and that seemed to make him want to hire me more. So, maybe this will help the pendulum swing in my favor for them instead of outsourcing the work.
Don't uncross your fingers. In fact, cross your toes, too!!
LMonet, you made me cry!! That was so nice of you! And thank you to everyone else for your support with all of my craziness. You are the people I vent to. My 'real life' friends don't really hear me talk about it too much, other than they know I'm looking for a job. So, thanks for listening and caring.
Please give Nylabelle a break and help these people realize that she is a gifted, talented young woman who would like nothing better than to give her all in a job that allows her to use her degree. You have been awfully mean to her lately and I would really appreciate it if you could send some 'Hire her!' thoughts to this ad agency because she really deserves it.
Sincerely,
LMonet

awww, that was so sweet!
good luck, nylabelle! we're all pulling for you...
Thanks, ladies. I just got another call for another interview at a different company. I'm so tired of going to interviews. I've probably had at least 30 in the past few years (you would think I would have found a job by now, right?).
I need to get out of here, though. I'm sick of people treating me like I'm stupid. For example, today, I got an e-mail to send out letters with brochure samples. Easy enough, right? Following that, I got two e-mails from the other people that were cc'd on the e-mail explaining it to me as if I have the learning capacity of a 1st grader. They were like, "now, Christy (and they spelled my name wrong!!), it's xyz brochures and a letter, not abc brochures and a kit." No shit assholes. I did graduate from college with honors, thanks. I hate this place.
Hey Nyla! How have you been? Did you ever hear back about the other interview with the creative position yet? I have all fingers and toes crossed for you! Let me know how things are going when you get a chance.

Hey!! I never heard back even after I followed up. Obviously, yet another job I didn't get. I'll PM you.
