My mom called me yesterday at dinner to tell me that I passed the Financial section of the CPA exam that I took in July!!! Thanks for all the warm wishes right before I went to take it.


Definetly went out and celebrated last night and ended up in a river in Illinois.

I have to take the other 3 parts in October and November - Audit, Regulation, and Business.


The River thing... Basically I'm at training still and we have an on-site bar so when I got the call about passing I was at Dinner with my trainer and some people in the OK office so they decided that instead of doing homework to take me to the bar. Our trainer made the mistake of mentioning some guy who wanted to go jump in last time he was here so another guy got that idea and i ended up at the river knee deep in very drunk.

wow!  congrats!  i was wondering about that...when you first posted about the test it made me think of when i took the NCLEX for nursing, what a big deal that was too.
