STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

Anybody else scream "You've got to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" at their tv last night when Gretchen won?  Was it just me?????

I really can't believe that her Nicole Richie circa 2005/Rachel Zoe wanna be collection won over Mondo's creative and fresh collection.  Micheal Kors and Nina kept saying how Mondo needs to mature because his collection trended "too young."  I didn't think his collection looked young in a juvenile way, but more in a Betsy Johnson or Marc Jacobs sort of way.  Gretchen peices, with the brown Grannie panties and loose cut out back shirts didn't read innovative to me. 

And I though going into the finale that my biggest question of the night would be why Jessica Simpson was chosen to be a judge when she can't even dress herself on a daily basis.   At least she offered a consumer's voice in the judging that they showed.
