I am on the verge of quiting or getting fired from my job teaching.  I have no more will or desire to continue.  If there is one thing about teaching, it's that you have to love your job or you do a big diservice to tons of kids. 

What do you suggest I look into jobwise? I can't leave without a plan on how to make money. I am a single mother of two and need to pay the rent and other bills. Rent alone is $2000. Other bills are easily another $1000.   At the moment on the average I make about $4000 a month. 

I am crying...depressed...and totally going to lose it unless I can think I can come up with a plan.  Please help me...any and all advice is welcome...thanks....

Is it teaching or maybe just the position you're in right now? Perhaps you just need to look for another position elsewhere. In the mean time your skills could make you a valuable mentor or tutor. You could advertise as a private tutor, that might help fill the gap while you look for other opportunities?

What do you teach? If elemetary, I'm thinking maybe you could look into childcare or even healthcare. If HS, you could do a lot - depending on the subject. Also, there's a ton of office work that translates easily. I have a couple of former teachers at my job.
