Marc Anthony has filed for divorce from his wife of a year, singer Jennifer Lopez. Anthony, away on tour cites irreconcilable differences. Through his spokesperson he says, "It is with great regret and sadness that I've made the difficult decision of ending my marriage. My wife and I plan on remaining caring friends. No third parties were involved." A source close to Lopez says Anthony has impregnated his ex-wife and former Miss Belmont Stakes, Dayanara Torres

I can't say I'm surprised at all. I don't care for J. Lo at all and as sad as it is, I really don't see her ever having a successful marriage - she seems like the type that gets married just to get married.

Wow. I feel sorry for her. It's gotta suck to go through all the crap she goes through, whether she brings it on herself or not. Especially now that Ben is happily married and expecting a kid on his own...

She actually seems more like the type that is completely unbearable to be around therefore driving every man that has ever loved her away.  She should just go back to Puff Daddy all ready.  He is the only man that will ever put up with her crap because he is more successful than her.  I think that he puts her ego in check.

i agree with farrah. i think she & puffy err... diddy as he is now known were a good match personality-wise. imo ben affleck was too much of a regular joe for her (as far as personality), and marc anthony strikes me as the type who likes his women to remain in the background while he's in the spotlight.

good point farrah.  i agree - i do think she belongs w/p.diddy.  i have always thought that the two of them will end up back together at some point.

Okay, I love J.lo but that girl has some serious issues in her personal life, obviously. She needs counsouling (sp) before she jumps into another relationship. She needs to fix her own issues first.

I sort of agree w/ Farrah.  However, I mostly think she needs to spend some time alone, she's never been single for more than 15 minutes.


I wouldn't wish a marriage break up on anyone, but she is so the new Elizabeth Taylor.

i think you're right. i didn't realize it until you brought it up, but i've been checking gawker all day (procrastinating) and they didn't mention this. and it's definitely the sort of thing that goes on gawker. also his wife was a former Miss Universe.

I don't think this is true either..I was watching spanish tv and they mention something about J. Lo being with her hubby at his concert. something like that. I too think it would have been all over by now. Trust me, if that was the case that show I was watching would have been the first ones to let the whole world know.

I agreee.  It's not anywhere on the internet that I've checked.  She was Miss Universe.  So odd that someone would refer to her as Miss Belmont Stakes over Miss Universe.
